Empiric Infotech LLP is based in India and serves clients in the United States, Europe, Australia, and elsewhere. Where this data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted under applicable data-protection law and keep it limited to what is needed to respond to you.

Client project data is handled differently. As a service-based company, when we deliver development work we operate within the client's own environment under the data-protection and confidentiality terms of that client's agreement. We deploy to the client's infrastructure and do not copy client project data to systems outside it. Where personal data is held within a client's project, that client is the controller of that data, and privacy requests should be directed to them. You may contact us using the details in Section 13 for any questions.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for. Enquiry and contact details are retained for the duration of our discussions and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can follow up and meet legal or accounting requirements. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form according to the settings of the providers in Section 4. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. We honour these rights regardless of your location. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion or correction of your information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As stated in Section 5, we do not sell or share your personal information. You may exercise these rights without being treated differently.
